Arts Week

The 2018 Arts Week commenced with a performance from Bernard Mangakahia: Kia Toa – Resilience, based on Bernard’s own experiences. The performance sent a strong message about resilience, referring to inspirational people but also had students dancing, singing and rhyming throughout.

Next, a team of visiting artists visited each classroom to conduct ‘Raw Art’ workshops.  Our visiting artists helped our students produce a variety of artistic projects across all year levels.

Finally, Currimundi State School’s very popular CURRA’s Got Talent Quest - thank you to Mrs Jermyn and Mrs Tye for all their hard work putting together the amazing talent that was showcased last Friday. The results for the Talent Quest will be announced at Jnr Parade Week 8 and Senior Parade Week 9.
