Start of Term Borrowing
Term 1 student borrowing will begin as of Monday 30 January 2023, Week 2/3.
What Can I Borrow?
Prep and Year 01 students can borrow 1 book from the Junior Fiction/Junior Non-Fiction Sections.
Years 02 to 06 students can borrow 2 books from the Accelerated Reader, Junior Fiction, General Fiction, Non-Fiction or magazines-(Year 03 - 06) at their teacher’s discretion.
Home Readers
Year 01 and 02 borrow their Home Readers in their library time.
BOOK CLUB - Issue 1
Our School participates in Scholastic Book Club. There are 8 issues per year (2 per term). Issue 1 has been sent home with students.
In here you’ll find award-winning books and bestsellers, as well as old and new favourites. I recommend them because the books span a wide range of children’s reading levels and interests and because they are inexpensive (some books cost as little as $3).
The Book Club LOOP platform for parents/carers allows you to pay by credit card. Your child’s order is submitted directly to school safe and sound and the books will be delivered to class. You can place your child’s order at the link below or using the LOOP app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
Every book sold through Book Club earns free books and resources for our library for our staff and students to enjoy!
