One of the most exciting developments over the holidays has been the completion and opening of our newly refurbished B Block. We were fortunate to have the Deputy Premier officially open the building on the final day of Term 3, marking a significant milestone for our school.
Our students and teachers have now moved into their new learning spaces, and it has been wonderful to see the classrooms come to life!
However, we're not quite finished yet! We have managed to squeeze the last few dollars out of the project budget to create additional outdoor learning spaces between B and G Blocks. These areas will provide flexible spaces for students to learn, collaborate and engage beyond the traditional classroom. Works commenced over the holidays and will continue throughout this term. We look forward to seeing these spaces take shape.
On the facilities front, our new bike racks have also been installed, completing another important school improvement project. With so many Currimundi students riding to school, these new low-profile racks are a welcome addition. Over the coming weeks, we will work with students through assemblies to demonstrate how to use the racks effectively and ensure bikes and scooters are secured appropriately.
