It has been a wonderful start to the year in Prep at Currimundi State School, with our youngest learners embracing school life with confidence and enthusiasm. Our CURRA kids have truly set a positive tone for 2026.
The students have shown incredible courage as they begin their formal schooling journey. It has been heartwarming to see new friendships forming, confident goodbyes in the mornings, and smiling faces ready to learn. A particularly special milestone was attending their very first school parade. Our Prep students demonstrated impressive independence — lining up proudly, listening carefully, and participating respectfully alongside the rest of the school. For many, this was a big moment, and they rose to the occasion beautifully. We are so proud of the resilience and excitement they bring to each day and hope that they have been sharing stories at home about their new experiences.
