The swimming component of our Water Safety Program begins next term for students in Prep to Year 04.
This year, our Prep and Year 01 students will participate in swimming lessons on Fridays at the Currimundi Special School pool. A big thank you to Mrs King and Currimundi Special School for allowing us to use their wonderful facility. This partnership means our youngest students can simply walk across for their lessons while also helping us significantly reduce the cost to families.
Our Years 02 – 04 students will continue their swimming lessons at the Caloundra Aquatic Centre.
There has been a change in the learn-to-swim provider this year, which has resulted in a delay in finalising arrangements and costs. We understand this may create a shorter payment timeframe for families, so please contact the office if you require a payment plan to support your child’s participation.
Class swimming timetables and further information will be sent to families early next term.
