Our Student Resource Scheme and Booklist have been combined to facilitate families with not having to rush around & purchase all school items for their students.  This system was agreed & approved by the Currimundi State School P&C Association.

The Queensland Government has announced a $100 Back to School Boost for every eligible Queensland school student. This initiative is designed to help families with the costs associated with schooling in 2026.

What is the $100 Back to School Boost?

Each eligible student will receive a $100 credit that can be used for approved school-related expenses, such as:

  • Student Resource Scheme (SRS) contributions
  • Curriculum-related materials or activities
  • Excursion etc

Applying the $100 to Student Resource Scheme/Booklist (SRS)

At our recent P&C meeting, we discussed the option of applying this $100 credit directly to students’ Student Resource Scheme (SRS) accounts.

Families have recently received an invoice for their child’s full SRS/Booklist fee along with a consent management request via QParents. Families are encouraged to action this request and confirm the $100 Back to School Boost will be able to be applied to the SRS balance, reducing the amount payable.

Opting out or using the $100 differently

Families who do not wish for the $100 Back to School Boost to be applied to their child’s SRS or they have already paid the SRS invoice, should contact the school office by Friday 6th of February to make alternative arrangements for how the credit can be applied.

If you have any questions or require assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.

Thank you for your continued support of our school.
