This week we celebrated our Annual Beach Carnival. All activities ran very well and we had a lot of fun participating in a variety of activities on our local beach. Thank you to the teachers and Beach Carnival planning group who put in a massive effort to make this possible. It was great to have parents and carers come along and cheer us on!
We ended the day with a celebratory parade with Glenora taking out first place in a very close points race! Congratulations to the winners of the Championship events that were held during the carnival. All participants put in a mighty effort, trained before the day and gave it all for their heats and finals.
On a personal note, after working in education for 33 years, this was my first ever beach carnival and I cannot believe how lucky we are.
