There is no before or after school playground supervision provided by the school. The use of our school grounds is only allowed (as signed in each of our playgrounds) if parents/carers are actively supervising their own children.
It is the supervising parent’s/carer’s responsibility to ensure that their children follow the same school rules that are expected during the school day to outside school hours to minimise the risk of injury. This includes the safety rules about how we use the play equipment e.g., taking turns, going the right way down a slide etc. It also includes walking not running on the cement.
Parents/carers also need to be aware that school toilets are cleaned ready for the next day and are locked by 3pm each day.
Our neighbours, who live along our fence line are a friendly bunch who return any balls etc. that may be kicked into their yards as we do not enter their properties to retrieve equipment during school hours. Please be mindful of showing courtesy to our neighbours.
